HR and Recruitment Officer

About this role

We are growing quickly and our whole argument to clients rests on people staying. This role owns both halves of that: bringing the right people in, and making the reasons to leave rare. You will work directly with the founder.

What you will do

• Run end-to-end hiring: sourcing, screening, assessments and interviews
• Manage job listings on this website and on KamShip AI
• Handle onboarding, contracts and Social Security Fund enrolment
• Coordinate the Freight Academy training calendar
• Track attrition and act on what it tells us
• Keep us compliant with the Labour Act 2074, particularly on night shifts

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years in HR or recruitment in Nepal
• Working knowledge of Nepali labour law and SSF processes
• Good written and spoken English and Nepali
• Organised, and comfortable with high hiring volume

Helpful, but not required

• Experience hiring for BPO or IT services
• Experience with an applicant tracking system
• Training or facilitation experience

Where and when

This role is based at our supervised office in Pokhara. Client work cannot be done from home, so you will need to be in Pokhara or willing to move here.
