Before you apply
Do I need freight experience?
No. The three-week Freight Academy exists precisely because almost nobody in Nepal arrives with freight experience. We hire for careful attention to detail and good written English, and we teach the freight.
What are the shift timings?
Night desk shifts run roughly 18:45 to 03:45 through to 21:45 to 06:45 Nepal time depending on which US time zone the client is in. Day desk shifts run from about 05:00 to 14:00 or 12:00 to 21:00 for Asia-Pacific, the Gulf and Europe. You apply for a specific shift and we do not move you without agreement.
Is transport really provided?
Yes, door to door, for every night and early shift, for everyone. It is a legal requirement for women working night hours under the Labour Act 2074 and we extend it to all staff because it is the right thing to do.
Can I move to a day shift later?
Usually yes, as day desks grow. Say so at interview and we will keep it in mind rather than surprising you.
Is this a call-centre job?
Not mainly. Most of the work is in systems: entering, checking, documenting and updating. Some roles include calls to carriers and drivers, and those roles are clearly marked and include a spoken-English assessment.
