Freight Operations Associate

About this role

This is our largest intake and the role most people join Kamship through. You will be trained from scratch in our paid three-week Freight Academy, then assigned to one client account with a team lead on the floor beside you and a QA reviewer checking your work daily. You are never left to figure it out alone.

What you will do

• Update shipment status in the client's transport management system
• Make check calls to carriers and drivers on loads that need them
• Run the client's carrier vetting checklist and log the evidence
• Collect and check proof-of-delivery paperwork
• Escalate at-risk loads to the client's on-call contact within minutes
• Write a clear end-of-shift handover

What we are looking for

• Good written English — this matters more than anything else
• Careful attention to detail and patience with repetitive checks
• Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets and learning new software
• Available for night shifts, reliably
• Bachelor's degree, or final-year student

Helpful, but not required

• Previous BPO, call centre or data entry experience
• Spoken English confident enough for phone calls
• Any exposure to logistics, import/export or supply chain

Where and when

This role is based at our supervised office in Pokhara. Client work cannot be done from home, so you will need to be in Pokhara or willing to move here.
